Supporting The Tasmin Gulvin Benevolent Fund
with Sporting Chance Clinic's second annual clay pigeon shoot and fishing day
Sporting Chance Clinic is generously supported by The Professional Footballers Association and The Football Association enabling us to carry out our valuable work. The charity set up by Tony Adams has always had an ethos of never turning someone away for financial reasons. This is where the Tamsin Gulvin Benevolent Fund comes in to help us assist those not currently supported by a professional body. The Fund will provide the opportunity for ALL sportspeople to benefit from Sporting Chance Clinic’s services.
On 15 September 2010 Sporting Chance Clinic is holding its second annual clay pigeon shoot and fishing day at Shugborough Shooting School, Staffordshire in aid of the Tasmin Gulvin Benevolent Fund.
The event is being covered throughout the day by Sky Sports News, The F.A. Premier League Productions and various other media representatives. We are delighted that a host of past and present football players and personalities will be taking part. Joey Barton of Newcastle United will obviously be present as he is patron of the Fund, along with a few team mates; Sam Allardyce and Ian Holloway will be among the Premiership managers supporting us on the day. We are very grateful to all those who will be supporting the day.
This is a fun event, but more importantly, there are two massive trophies to be competed for, along with prizes for second and third place. Team photographs will be available and breakfast and lunch supplied in beautiful surroundings for a good cause. You do not need to have ever fished nor shot before as half an hour’s tuition will be given by local experts. All rods and reels, guns and ammunition will be supplied.
We are extremely grateful to the sponsorship and support provided by, in particular, the PFA, the FA, and the Premier League. The day is primarily about fun and raising money to support those without funds who need our support. Therefore we would like to acknowledge Sport Mobilewww.sportmobile.co.uk, Olivia Shaw Photography www.oliviashawphotography.comand Ben Marsh of BLLUdog Designs www.BLLUdog.co.uk. We are also truly grateful to Hibernian Football Club in Edinburgh for their generous donation and support to the Tamsin Gulvin Benevolent Fund.
Teams are purchased at £1,000 for 3 people and a limited number of places are available on the day. If you and your party would like to take part, or are interested in sponsoring the event, please contact Shaun O’Donnell for availability on 07800 869 672.
