Sporting Chance Involved in ATP Speaker Series

Sporting Chance kicked off a fantastic new initiative by the Association of Tennis Professionals with Tony Adams MBE appearing at their inaugural virtual speaker series event.

Adams, who founded Sporting Chance in 2000, joined former doubles World number one Jamie Murray for a candid conversation about mental health in sport.

Former England and Arsenal captain Adams shared his own personal experiences of addiction, anxiety, low-self esteem and depression - and how he found the solutions to these problems.

He also talked about the mental health landscape in professional sport that sparked the idea that led to the formation of Sporting Chance and discussed the work the charity does today.

Sporting Chance has been supporting ATP members since the start of the pandemic through a partnership which provides them with free access to fully confidential counselling.
